nerdGRAPH Mode

A power-user visual node graph editor for the same signal flow Dropzone builds.

nerdGRAPH is NOISERATOR's visual node graph editor — a power-user view of the exact same signal flow that Dropzone builds. Every node, wire, and parameter is live-editable.

Switch to nerdGRAPH by clicking the nerdGRAPH button in the mode bar above the canvas.

Adding Nodes

  • Press Spacebar or / to open the searchable node overlay. Type to filter, click or press Enter to add.
  • Alternatively, drag nodes from the operator palette on the left side of the graph.

Connecting Nodes

  • Drag from an output port (right side of a node) to an input port (left side) to create a connection.
  • Click a connection wire to select it; press Delete to remove it.

The Viewport

  • The embedded preview canvas at the top of the nerdGRAPH view shows the output of the pinned node.
  • Right-click a node and choose Pin to Viewport to route its output there.

Syncing with Dropzone

Dropzone and nerdGRAPH share the same underlying node graph. Changes made in nerdGRAPH are immediately reflected when you switch back to Dropzone. Use nerdGRAPH when you need fine-grained control over routing, per-node parameters, or animation curves; use Dropzone for fast, intuitive composition.

Dropzone Mode

A studio-style composition workspace organized into six resizable columns for signal flow.

Generators

All available noise, pattern, effects, and special generators organized by category.
